Hamilton Carlton Vintage 10k Gold Fill Watch circa 1949 with 747 Mvmt - RUNNING

This is a stunning vintage Hamilton watch, from the Carlton line circa 1949, with a 10k gold filled case and pristine white dial. It has been observed for several days and is keeping good time, running just a touch slow by about 30 seconds per day (exact time keeping accuracy not guaranteed). The reserve has been fantastic, keeping its wind for the entire observation period. It is a hand wound manual mechanical watch which will need to be wound every so often. The 12k gold filled expansion bracelet is original and measures 7 inches around and extremely comfortable (can be changed to a leather strap upon request). The crystal has light scratches, same with the case but has kept it's lustre after all these years and doesn't show any signs of wearing off. All of the minor imperfections give this nearly 80 year old timepiece its character. Service history is unknown, selling as-is. Will ship out next business day.
