This handcrafted Royal Copenhagen Denmark porcelain figurine depicts a faun sitting in a pillar holding a flute while watching a squirrel.
Designed by Christian Thomsen in 1903 and signed on the base (picture # 7).
Thomsen was employed as a Royal Copenhagen Denmark artist from 1898 to 1921, passed away in 1921.
Has the Royal Copenhagen Denmark backstamp with the # 456.
According to the seal with the bar below the letter N this piece was manufactured in 1966. There is NO ETCH through the 3 waves logo, meaning this is factory first.
