~RARE JAR ALERT~~Maddux: Clown

Collector Cookie Jar. Here he is! One of the

hardest to find of the clown iars and one of

the most colorful jars in his class! This jar is

absolutely stunning with the bright colors.

There are two versions of this jar, the under

glaze & cold painted version. This one is the

cold-painted version. No chips, no cracks or

hairlines. Look carefully at some of the

photos you will see some cold paint missing.

Miraculously, his face paint has survived

well. Overall, about 98% of the paint is

intact. The base itself is under glaze, only

the face, lid, and buttons on the base are

cold paint. The lid is huge; the head of the

clown extends about 10 inches into the air. I

have always liked this jar; the smiling face,

the fun feeling that you get looking at him.
